Creating with our hands is a fundamental aspect of our curriculum. Knitting, weaving, sewing, cross-stitch, clay sculpting, woodwork, paper mache, crocheting and felting are some examples of what we include. These skills benefit the development of fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration, mathematical awareness, patience, persistence, creativity, confidence, pride in one’s creations and problem-solving.
